How to read DMV CA scoring sheet?

i failed my last test for a dumb mistake but I want to know what the circled numbers mean? Like under intersections, he circled 1 2 and 3. Under turns he circled 1 for both left and right for approach stop and turn/complete. Lane change he circled L. What does all this mean?

The examiner scores certain maneuvers at set points on the drive. As you drive thru the area of the manuver he circles the # that corresponds with his route map. The checks thru the numbers denote errors. When you make a critical error the examiner stops scoring and directs you back to the officer. So, don't get caught up about the scoresheet focus on what the examiner said at the end. If first you don't succeed, try again!

Generally, It means that you failed those categories and that means you need to study, study, practice, practice, practice. You should have asked your tester what those circled items mean.
