telling a fwb you like him?

were both 18 not we met when we were 16 he was interested in dating i wasnt (due to person issues) we kept talking and ended up hooking up after a few months of talking since then we've been hooking up every once in a while

i have dated other guys since we met but i realized i liked him he doesn't know this

were 18 now i really want to tell him to just get it off my chest and if he doesn't like me back ill just move on but lots of people we both know think we will end up together

but I'm scared to tell him we sometimes go out to bars and get drunk

i was thinking about just telling him next time were drunk (he always drinks less than me so he won't be drunk)

but I'm not sure what to even say
