Where does the failed slant rank among the greatest Super Bowl blunders?
I watched Leon Lett premature celebration that didn't have an impact on the outcome but looked like the dumbest play ever, Scott Norwood wide right, and the Colts losing the onside kick.
And I heard about Jackie Smith dropping a perfectly thrown TD pass when he was wide open costing the Cowboys a Super Bowl.

I look at it differently. Although for the Seahawks my opi9nion it was a bad call for them...but it's exactly the type of play call the Pats would make. It wasn't as much the play call (again, I think it was a dumb call for them) but an unbelievable play by Browner to jam the pick receiver and Malcolm Butler to make the play on the ball. it was a much better defensive play than an offensive blunder.
Give the young player credit, that was a great football play.

The call wasn't nearly as bad as the execution, Wilson should have thrown the ball to the back shoulder if at all and Lockette should have made more of an effort. It's odd that everyone seems to be blaming the OC without passing any of the blame to Wilson for his bad throw.

IMO, this one is the worst. Players make mistakes in a fast-paced game, but this was a huge blunder by the coaching staff.

I asked two teenage girls that knew nothing about football to review the play. I had to explain they had 3 try's to get one yard to win the game and theyhad the best runner in the game. and he carried over 4 yards each run. They said how stupid it was to pass. how about those green apples?

Probably the worst call, however if they make it people would have called Carroll a genius.
