PC Building? 10 points!?
So I'm planning to build my first PC and I have never used Ethernet cables because my router is downstairs. I've always used wifi however if I build my PC I'm going to need to get a Wireless network adapter right? Or does it not work like that?
Thanks in advance

Some of the better motherboard are now being sold with on-board wifi, however you are correct, if it doesn't, either a PCI or PCI-e wifi card or a USB wifi adapter will be needed

Does you current PC have a wireless card and if so will it work in the new computer? To save money I usually try to salvage as many parts as possible. Usually I'll use the same drives, peripherals, and power supply if it is compatible and the output rating meets the power budget.
