I don't dislike most groups, but how about the Ku Klux Klan? In some places they wanted to be a part of that thing, where they pick up road trash and have their name on a sign alongside the road.
There was a skinhead in the 80s or 90s, who was on Oprah and called her a black cow or something like that. Then he went back on the show a couple of decades later and had totally changed his thinking. He apologized.
I do not dislike "groups" but follow the Bible principle to "honor men of all sorts." There is good found in every institution, and potential for change of everyone.
Remember that cult run by Warren Jeffs? An offshoot of Mormonism, but more extreme? The rulers were marrying little girls and practicing polygamy. The people that lived in that area, didn't necessarily even all approve of him, but lived there. At any time, he, or someone could come to their homes and see if his picture was up on their wall. They weren't all bad people.
Everyone should be treated with respect, until they give reason to lose it. And even then they still deserve respect on some level. How do you know you won't win someone over, who appears to be hard hearted. Look at the apostle Paul and what he was like. He persecuted Christians, until he became Christian and was on the receiving end of that poor treatment.
Treat people as individuals. And sometimes, it is possible that once a dialogue is established, you will find out that you were wrong about some groups.
Peace and have a good day.
