It would help if we knew if it was an animal or a man, body, facial, or head hair, attractive or ugly. Anyway, I can't think of one word, but you can use combinations of the words below. For example:

a swarthy, hirsute man

a bronzed, shaggy figure

his ashen, charcoal grey skin was covered with course hair

dark: swarthy, dusky, inky

grey: charcoal

black: coal, raven, sable, ebony

brown: chestnut, chocolate, coffee, bronzed

hairy: hirsute, shaggy, heavily bearded, covered with hair

my neighbours dog she is dark hairy and beautiful and clever
