Technically, no, the insurance company can't, but the state can, and:
1) If the insurance company cancels your insurance, for any reason, then the state will suspend your license
2) If you were in an accident and didn't have insurance, and you don't pay what you are supposed to pay to the other driver's insurance company, then the insurance company will tell the state and the state will suspend your license.

No, not for any reason. Insurance companies don't have any power to suspend anyone's licence.
They can cancel an insurance contract for several reasons, but that's the limit of what they can do.

Nope. Insurance companies can't and don't suspend drivers licenses. However....... They can **cause** your license to be suspended........ by your DMV.

No, only the state that issued the license can do that. However, the insurance company can cancel your policy and it's illegal to drive without insurance in most states.

Not directly, but if they had to pay out for an accident you caused, and YOU had no insurance, they can and will ask the state to suspend your d/l if you do not reimburse them. this happens fairly often.

Not directly, no, they can only cancel your policy. However, there are numerous scenarios where they might notify your state's DMV offices that their is a pending issue with the coverage of your owned vehicle.
