Is ISIS and the Muslim Brotherhood connected in any kind of way?
Same faction of Islam perhaps, sunnis.

For now, the angry former Bush/Cheney detainee Abu-Bakr Baghdadi trusts no one but himself and his recruits, so the Muslim Brotherhood that was established in Egypt in 1928 is not yet connected other than being Arab and Muslim followers of the Quran with as much militancy as do the rightwing Republicans here in the U.S. follow their whack-job literalist version of scripture (a.k.a., the BuyBull when taken literally). The goal of having a Caliphate, or one-religion-only rule (like the GOP wants to force here in the U.S.), for the entire Middle East is shared by both groups, however. The name ISIS, or Islamic Sunnis in Iraq and Syria, is no longer up-to-date however, because ISIS leader Baghdadi infuriated al-Qaeda leader Zawahiri in Syria back in 2013, so Zawahiri ordered him out of Syria, telling Baghdadi in an open letter (published in Al Jazeera News) that he should confine his group activities to Iraq only. In defiance, Baghdadi upped the ante and began targeting all of the nations of the Levant (most of the Middle East, plus Palestine and Israel) and became ISIL. Some of the goals are similar, but the gigantic egos of some of the leaders would pit the groups against each other as they each vie for power. Same as with the tyrannical, but treacherous Republican extremists here at home.

No. ISIS is terrorist in Nature an anything and anyone that wants in can just start killing and beheading people, Muslim Brotherhood is just militant Assholes. I received a letter from a friend that is an Arab and he said all of these people are the same and should be killed.

Yes, it is connected in the sense that terrorism in the absolute sense is indistinguishable. LOL They both kill for their sky daddy. LOL
