Mexico question?

I'm going to Mexico with my friend and her parents. I don't have a passport and my birth certificate is lost. I was wondering if I could get across the border still somehow. The border to and from Mexico????? I have a copy of my birth certificate, and my social security number, along with my school ID (it has a picture of me on it), and I have a baptism certificate with my name on it as well.

You Can go but only to and not beyond the Border Zone for 72 hours or less. You are restricted to the border zone. Down to Ensenada or down to Rocky Point and all the bordertowns. Th ID you have is what you need to go back into the USA.

No. Passport is required. You could try the baptism certificate though.
