How can I stop someone from stalking me on Yahoo Comment sections?
Their comments are typically rude and vulgar, and not realated to the topic at hand. I've muted this person, but they apparently still follow me to every post I make and are posting crass, demeaning or outright false things about me. This makes it very difficult to carry on a normal conversation with other commenters when every time I post, there are 2-3 disgusting attacks by this person. Is there a stronger measure I can take besides muting them from my sight? Is there a way to prevent them from seeing my posts anymore?

If it is one person doing it, since stalking is a violation of terms, gather up a few examples of what you experience and send an email with the links to the Yahoo answers team.

Report them to the moderators that run this site and they will ban him or her and probably reply with directions on how to block someone completely from your posts and comments, etc. 👍
