What do you think of Zlatan's red card against Chelsea?
I thought it was one of the softest dismissals ever issued. Watch the alleged foul closely, and you'll see why, with Oscar's complete acting and with the studs not making contact with the legs.

The laws of the game are clear:
The referee MUST send a player off for a tackle that uses EXCESSIVE force.
To the average spectator the word "excessive" may appear to be a subjective term - something which is debatable and upon which a consensus opinion would suffice in determining whether excessive force was, or was not, used.
However, guidelines have been issued which indicate that if a player launches a two-footed tackle against an opponent, where both feet are off the ground, the force MUST be classed as excessive, because the player then has no effective means of limiting the speed of impact.
It's a bit like a car whose wheels are not in contact with the road - the brakes can't work, and if you are seriously injured by it while crossing the road, it is no good the driver saying he tried to minimise the force of impact by ramming the brakes on.
Ibrahimovic is a professional footballer. He is required to know the laws of the game and it is reasonable to assume that he does know those laws.
Despite that, he deliberately launched a tackle at Oscar with both feet off the ground, as can be seen clearly in the video you posted.
Ibrahimovic knew he was breaking the rules, and understood he was being sent off for serious foul play.
I quote the following:
"...
Any player who lunges at an opponent in challenging for the ball from the front, from the side or from behind using one or both legs, with excessive force and endangering the safety of an opponent is guilty of serious foul play.
Advantage should not be applied in situations involving serious foul play unless there is a clear subsequent opportunity to score a goal. The referee must send off the player guilty of serious foul play when the ball is next out of play.

That was not excessive force, it was a late tackle (yellow) with no agression in Z’s body position. He clearly pulled his legs away from the tackle when he realised what was happening.
If his boots were out.. maybe, spikes up, definately. but they were not.. It was a deserved Yellow
