Looking for a "Sweet & Sour" sauce for my Tyson Nuggets.?
Something on the order of that which McDonald's and Burger King give in the little one oz packets. So far The ones I have found in the supermarket dressing isles have tasted to much of vinegar (I forget which it was), and Kikkoman brand tastes like toasted/burnt bread.
bread. Any brand recommendations for a "Sweet & Sour" dip ?
I am hoping for someone familiar with the taste of the McD & BK dips and knows of a similar flavoured bottled retail item.
I do not want to waste more money buying a bunch of bottles just to find them not up to par. Making my own is not practical.
KIKKOMAN contacted me. They said I was getting the wrong product.
The also have a "Dipping" sauce. The stores I visit only carried the Basting sauce. I will have to go to another store and find out if that is it.

Amazon has a list of different sweet and sour sauces by top sellers. If you don't want to order, you can always look at the brands and see if they are in stores. I don't like Kikkoman or La Choy. I usually make my own.

Just make one. There are several recipe variations: sugar, vinegar, ketchup, soy, sometimes pineapple juice.
