How can I get recognized by a modeling agency?

Same as every other model. You send your best pictures and measurements to every legitimate agency near you and if you really are model material, they will call you within 2 weeks to come to their office so they can see you in person, measure you and take a few Polaroids before deciding if they are want to sign you or not. Or you check the agency websites to see if they hold open calls. Not all agencies do, but some agencies have specific days/times that are open for any wannabe model to come to their office, be seen by an agent, and told on the spot if they are model material or not. If an agency holds open calls, it will always be listed on their website. If going to an open call you always wear the standard 'model uniform' of dark skinny jeans or leggings, a solid color top and heels. Makeup should be minimal. When submitting photos make sure the pictures are the best they can be, NO selfies. Agencies get hundreds of pictures a week and look at them for about 2 seconds each so the pics you send need to be amazing. Don't pick your own pictures, have a trusted friend or family member pick which ones look best as other people are a MUCH better judge of your looks than you are. You don't have to pay for professional photos as long as you have a friend or family member who is a good photographer who can shoot you in good light and make you look your best. A top agency can get over 10,000 pictures a year from wannabe models and will only take on 10-15 new models each year which is why you don't send in anything unless you are confident they are the best pictures you can take
