Someone on FB added me and is messaging me - does he just wanna talk?

This boy who shares more than 15 mutual friends with me on FB added me and started chatting with me. He goes to a nearby school and seems harmless lol but does he just wanna chat? I'm a lesbian so I'm really not interested in flirting, sharing pictures or hanging out with boys.
