Why does X political party/ideology hate Y group of people/political cause?

Why?

I mean, this type of question must make up about 3/4 of the questions on here.

Because the division has been created by the powers that be to keep people distracted by making scapegoats of the other party. Yes, it does get boring, which is why I am making an effort to ask at least one actual political question here every day. Maybe if enough of us would do it, things might change!

Because a polarised argument requires less effort and thought, as you can spend more time saying that one group of people is bad etc. and fill your argument with subjective comments rather than focusing on what you want to do and what you believe in. Do you know of any conviction politicians?

Why does a certain liberal political party insist that disagreeing with their policies is equivalent to hatred?

lol....get over yourselves, if someone does not like your ideas, that means they do not like your ideas....not that they do not like you.

    Its not personal, its business.

    Hope that helps.
