I'm looking for advice or where to find more information about kennelling my cat to treat a broken leg.?
My cat was run over and missing for two weeks before he made it back home, starved with two broken back legs. One leg was broken below the knee, and he is still at the vet having it pinned. The other break is just below his hip, causing this leg to drag. The advice i recieved is to kennel him for 3 weeks, to constrict and monitor his movement. How do i accomplish this if I'm not home for hours, for his litter box needs. And locking him up in the keenel all day long seems really sad.

He should be kenneled at the vet. That way he would be checked on multiple times a day and you could visit whenever you can. That's what I did when my cat had a severe injury of the leg.
