Yes, I would like to see the Cubs in the World Series, it's been so long, though I am a Mets fan so if the Cubs meet the Mets in the NLDS or NLCS, I will root for the Mets, but if the Cubs meet the Yankees in the World Series, I will root for the Cubs because the Yankees won too much anyway

As a Cubs fan, I'm torn. Right now, disappointment and futility are part of our identity yet we now, in real life, that no matter how bad things get, we'll never be as bad as the Cubs.

So it would be nice to see them end the drought, but then what?

Do we, the fans, and the organization become entitled jerks like Boston did? The Wrigley crowd is more about partying and having a good time than being ultra-competitive and obnoxious, and I'd hate to see that change.

No. The Cubs winning the World Series has long been known as a sign of the Apocalypse being upon us.

Yes. I'm an Indians fan, but I want the Cubs to make it there just because it's been so long.

It would be historic!!! I'm a Yankees fan and if they were in the World Series against the Cubs, I would be happy if either team wins!!!

I would and I am not a Cubs fan

Absolutely! In addition I would like to see all those franchises that have yet to win a WS get their day in the sun. The fans deserve it just as much as he players, perhaps even more. Fans, unlike players don't jump from team to team via free agency!

If it is not against the New York Yankees or any of my family members or friends favorite teams then yes it absolutely would be quite an event.
