I'm 14 and heart burn?
I am 14 years old and I get heart burn Usually at least once a day. The heart burns last anywhere from 30 seconds to about 3 minutes sometimes. Is this normal?

I don't want to scare you, but I am 25 weeks along and I still get nauseous and even throw up every so often. I also have killer heart burn and indigestion. It sucks. You'll be fine. Try to stay away from what really bothers your tummy, but I don't think it will get much worse, I wouldn't stress over it.

First of all, check your diet. Cut down coffee,(especially on an empty stomach!), citrus, fatty/fast food, chocolate, spicy food, red pepper and everything that triggers the heartburn. Do not have any heavy meals especially late at night, do not lie down too soon after eating, and when sleeping, elevate the head of your bed. Also, buy antacids for yourself and see if they work.
