Would you say is ever late to treat / cure depression?

Update:

I think I've been severely depressed for about 10 years now.

    Yes it is, once the person is dead. Its never to late to get help for depression as long as you are still living. You may be 20 or 80. You may have been depressed 2 months or 30 years. Seek help.

    No, it is never too late to treat depression. You should seek help once finding signs of depression, and seek support if ever feeling down. :)

    Maybe when you're 80 - but not before, no.
