What do you think of the executions of the Bali 9 duo?
I thought it was despicable, especially when these men worked hard to improve the lives of others and learn from their mistakes. Why did it take ten years?

I think it's totally wrong. Murderers, rapists and other scum get 30 years in prison and yet these 2 didn't kill anyone but had to pay for their crime with their lives. Bali 9 were all under 25 when they were caught, I don't think one misguided decision as a young adult should be allowed to wreck the rest of their lives. They already served 10 years and had turned their lives around. Nobody is forced to take drugs, addicts are not victims, and executing smugglers will not deter people from dealing or taking. As long as there's demand, there'll always be supply. They were killed purely to make an example out of them.

I think of the victims of Heroin death and I think of the lives of those who escaped death and daily torture that 8kg of heroin would have brought them. The years of imprisonment and executions were appropriate as the punishment fitted the crime.

typical liberal they didn't make "mistakes" they deliberately decided to smuggle drugs , that kill people (for money) just like all the other criminals they make DECISIONS not mistakes not errors of judgement , they bet they could smuggle drugs without being caught and they lost
