Math equation. 10 or 58??!?
So I got 58 but my friend got 10. Can some one help? Keep in mind the Odets of operation. My friend is saying 10 because you do parenthesis first and says that since the 3 is in parenthesis you so 2 times 3 first. But I say that that counts as multipulcation because the parenthesis are just being used to shoe to multiply. Help!?

PEMDAS
P- work out what is INSIDE the parenthesis and ONLY what is INSIDE
E- Exponents
M- multiply
D- Divide
A- Add
S- Subtract
1.Perform the operations inside a parenthesis first
2.Then exponents
3.Then multiplication and division, from left to right
4.Then addition and subtraction, from left to right
36 / 2 x 3 + 4
18 x 3 + 4
54 + 4
58

No if somethin is put in brackets then it is to say that that operation should be done first. So the answer 'll be 10
