Switching calls between cell and landline?

Cell is my primary #.

Only have landline as backup. Is there a way I can switch an ongoing call from one to the other? Or are they separate platforms and it can not be done?

    They are separate except where the cell tower

    connects to your local landline switching network.

    Maybe, if you made a 'conference' call, you might be able

    to 'move' from one phone to another at your end.

    One silly mistake in button-pressing would be enough to terminate the call.
