Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 problem?
I just got it today and it does not work for me. I plug it into my computer and set it all up but the led halos dont light up. On cubase, it does not show up on audio systems so I cant set it up on cubase or record. I dont have studio monitors. Could that be why?

Did you install it's USB driver?
I'd think that is the most likely problem.
Get the latest one from the Focusrite web site here:

If you plugged it in before installing the driver it will be using the wrong one, which is why it does not appear.
Try just installing the proper driver then reconnecting the interface box.
If it still does not work:
Go to device manager and watch as you connect it to see what extra device is shown, then right-click that and uninstall it.
Then unplug the box and install the proper driver again.
Reconnect it and hopefully it will pick up the correct driver.
