Frankie Gomez vs Humberto Soto on the undercard of Canelo-Kirkland; Thoughts?

Great test for Gomez, who's finally coming into his own.

I thought he'd been disappointing up until the asss whooping he put on Vernon Paris. Soto is older and past his prime, but he's a very sound fighter w/ a great chin and technique.

Who wins?

I'll take Gomez by a late stoppage, I think he'll get him out of there after he go to his body for a few rounds.

It'll be a war though because Soto is a tough veteran. And It will make Frankie a better fighter if he won.

Anyways, this will be his break out fight and hopefully he impress. I want to see how he do against the likes of Garcia or Crawford.

I actually forgot about that fight, thanks. That's going to be an excellent fight. I'm curious to see how Frankie looks after this lay-off. I'm looking forward to that fight, more than the main event. If Frankie Gomez can keep his nose clean, he's going to have a great future in the sport of boxing.

Never been high on Gomez me being Mexican, but he could change my mind Saturday. For now I don't see what's the deal with him. No disrespect to him at all either.
