How much insulin is secreted per day and what amount of blood sugar can be reduced by that?

    In a healthy, normal person, the amount of insulin secreted will MATCH the amount needed.

    There is no "set amount". The sugar levels in the blood will trigger the release of insulin. When the sugar levels are reduced, the body will stop secreting insulin until it is needed again.

    That is why a healthy person will never have a low sugar event that could be dangerous.
