Is Ebay's Customer Support honest?
I would very much like to know, are the folks working at Ebay customer support honest? Or do they just tell you what you want to hear?

eBays phone support is actually outsourced to India. If you get lucky and someone answers who doesn't have such a strong accent that you can actually understand them realize that they read from a script. Their training appears to be minimal.
eBay used to have what we called "Pinks" that responded on their chat boards. These people actually knew what they were talking about. A few years ago eBay decided to do away with the highly trained people and just outsource to a much cheaper method.
