What are your thoughts on Court Yard Hounds and Small Town Pistols?
I originally had info to add, but apparently Yahoo Answers has a stricter character limit than before There's a common denominator between the two in that they are derived from familiar trios.

The Court Yard Hounds, who are two thirds of the Dixie Chicks, aren't a quarter as good as the Dixie Chicks were. That says a lot for Natalie Maines, despite her misgivings. There is only one of their songs which I like, and that is "Ain't No Son", from their first album.
As for Small Town Pistols, they are not my cup of tea at all.
