Are Hong Kong's residents subject to the 'one child' rule?

    no, hong kong is an autonomous region of china and anyway was still under british rule when the one child policy was first implemented. you might notice that china has now banned smoking in all buildings in beijing and intends to police that in a start to cut the number of deaths from tobacco use. surely you must applaud the country for trying to address problems.
