Could thinking lowly of self be also vanity?

    Sure. Thinking too much of yourself is a vanity. Finding a fault in your normal ideal of perfection for yourself is definitely a vanity.

    Being proud of not being proud maybe but it is a bit far fetched .That a person should control his pride is a fair thing but then to belittle the same act on the grounds that he maybe proud of the fact that he did
