18 and inflammatory breast cancer?
I'm 18 years old, and the last 3 months I've developed a red speckled rash on my right breast, it started off just under my breast so I suspected it was sweat rash, a few weeks later it came back covering almost half of my breast, it has stayed in this condition for a week but it comes and goes, I went to my doctor and she said IBC is uncommon so gave me cream as I may developed an allergy to my bra, I went 2 weeks without a bra, it came back. Returned to my doctor and she said it looks like IBC but uncommon for my age, every woman in my family has had a form of BReast cancer and my mother does carry the hereditary gene, I am so scared and too nervous to tell my boyfriend and work, someone please give me advice, is it normal? I have all the symptoms and how to deal with it.

Not even remotely close to even being Considered Inflammatory breast cancer.
Your doctor is correct. What do you wash your bra with? Do you use scented or unscented laundry detergent. You may want to try that. Also you should see a dermatologist to determine if you are allergic to any ingredients on your lotions/detergents, etc. There is no need to put the cart before the horse and tell your boyfriend and work. Get a REAL Answer first. See another Doctor for a second opinion. I am sure if your doctor was concerned she would have sent you for more tests.

IBC is incredibly rare at your age.( about 1 in 100 million)
IBC does not come an go, it comes and gets worse.
Trust your Dr to fully investigate or get a new doctor.
