No computer in my house offers an Ethernet connection to set up an AT&T wireless router. What do?

Update:

AT&T states I will need to connect the new wireless router to my computer via a Ethernet cable. I have tablets and a two in one laptop but those do not come with the ports needed to setup my new modem/router. I think this can be done without it but I am not sure. I just know I will hate calling AT&T or paying for setup. GUH.

borrow one from a friend. once it's set up, it will remember, and you can probably fix it so that your tablet is allowed to login to the router over wifi

it will probably "just work" if you plug it in, but you might not be able to change the default password or set port forwarding or update the firmware etc. over wifi - which might be a good idea if they all ship with the same default password

try googling the model number of the router to find specific tips

You don't need Ethernet to set up WiFi. What you need to do is get the model number of the gateway and the network key. Go into the settings on your device and activate the WiFi.
