Assalamu alaikum.What is the meaning of siijin in the Qur'an 83:7?

As far as I know, "Sijjin" is the name of a register where all the bad deeds by the bad/wicked people are recorded/written. While "Illiyun" is the name of a register where all the good deeds by good people are recorded/written.

According Asad translation: a mode inescapable

NAY, VERILY, the record of the wicked is indeed [set down] in a mode inescapable!

According Maududi: the prison-house

No indeed! Verily the deeds of the wicked are in the Record locked up in the prison-house!

Another translator don't translate this word

وعليكم السلام ورحمة الله وبركاته

Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on him) was asked: Where are Paradise and Hell?

He replied: Paradise is in the highest of ‘Illiyyeen and Hell is in as-Sijjeen, and as-Sijjeen is in the lowest earth, as it says in the hadith: “When the person is dying, Allah, may He be exalted, says: ‘Record the book of My slave in Sijjeen in the lowest earth.’” As for Paradise, it is above, in the highest of ‘Illiyyeen. It is proven from the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) that “The Throne of the Lord, may He be glorified and exalted, is the roof of Jannat al-Firdaws.”

The meaning is that Allah wait no Satan told you Muslims to kill kaffirs to get a one way ticket to heaven and you will be rewarded 72 virgins to ****.
