If I'm grossed out by two dudes kissing on TV, does that make me homophobic or intolerant?

I feel physically ill and ashamed to be part of the human race when I see homosexual acts of affection. Do I have to try and change the way I feel or are my feeling justified?

You see how they use the word homophobic to make you feel guilty, but not the homosexual.

They call themselves now gays, a word that has nothing to do with sodomy.

When you see homosexuality and you feel.sick you're intolerant, and intolerance is normal.

You are normal and seeing things that are not natural should bother you.

As long as you feel like that you're good, but once you see it as normal I'm thinking you'll go try it too before saying its a great thing.

Homophobic to me is someone who hates people for the bad things they do, and if that's how you see it then yes you shouldn't feel like that.

Don't hate or discriminate, everyone is free to do as he will, but still keep your conscience and common sense awake and alive.

Unless you are exaggerating, your reaction seems pretty extreme.

Many people are not big fans of watching romantic-sexual scenes which do not turn them on or with which they cannot identify. But most people just avert their eyes or do not make entertainment selections where that is very likely to turn up often.

So I'd say there is definitely something going on with you. You can confront it or you can just make other entertainment choices. Entertainment companies are not in business to lose money. You can see that your reaction is extreme because if male kissing were a deal breaker for many people, such scenes would not appear.

Who really likes such scenes? Well, gay people, obviously. Many straight women -- and face it, if you are disgusted by male-male kissing, but you don't feel the same way about woman-woman kissing, isn't that a tad hypocritical? And secure straight men -- they probably don't want male liplocks from title to credits -- but they are not threatened by male intimacy.

Where does this discomfort come from? You don't see gay people complaining about being uncomfortable watching heterosexual behavior. A straight male has grown up being a male, having a penis, they are use to the male body; yet some straight males are uncomfortable seeing something they themselves are(a male) kissing another of which they themselves are(another male)? Why? Maybe, a straight male doesn't get aroused or turned on by same-sex PDA, but having a "neutral" response, would make more sense. A "neutral" response is generally the response that gays have to opposite-sex PDA, so why can't straights have a "neutral" response to same-sex PDA? You have to wonder, if someone who claims that same-sex PDA is disgusting, if the act really is disgusting or if they just tell themselves that it is disgusting?

Sound like you're homophobic , you don't need to change the way you feel but its not justified. No matter if you agree with it or not know that is never a reason to disrespect someone, don't be rude about it.

If you hate it and it upsets you that it exists, homophobic. Intolerant if it just makes you sick, which, can be normal. I don't even like watching straight kissing.

That's like saying black people on TV gross you out. Takes us way back in history, no?

Maybe it wasn't your fault that you think this way, but you can choose to break the chains and open your eyes whenever you want. That is only up to you.

It's intolerant if it grosses you out. It's homophobic to be ashamed of to be ashamed to be of the same species as a homosexual.
