can you install 3rd row seats in a 3rd gen Durango? (2010-current)?
my wife wants a Durango with 3rd row seats. only problem is 3rd row seats puts the Durango out of our price range. if we get one that seats just 5 for now, is it possible to install the 3rd row down the road?

If you really want to convert to a third row later you can. Try a junkyard or find someone parting out one with the same interior as yours and get the seat assembly and seat belts not hard to install as the holes and brackets will line up with your body

No. If you don't buy the 3rd row seats, the vehicle is not set up for such seats to be installed later.
