Why can't Americans carry loaded guns everywhere they go?

Since America seems to be plagued by psychotic weirdos like Dylann Roof, the 21-year-old accused of killing nine people inside Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, South Carolina.

I think it's disturbing that the media is calling Dylann Roof a "suspect". I think if everyone in that church was armed, less people would have died and Dylann Roof would be dead.

Cops carry guns, but they can't be everywhere at once.

Criminals carry guns because they commit crime. You can't take away the guns from unlawful owners until it's too late.

So why aren't the Good, hardworking people in America demanding the ability to protecting themselves? I hear a lot of talk about GUN CONTROL, but that only removes the guns from responsible owners, and leaves them vulnerable to criminals and crooked cops.

I am a firm supporter of gun rights and concealed carry, but it's only speculation that an armed individual in the Bible study would have reduced the loss of innocent lives.

That said, it is highly likely that Roof chose that location specifically because it was likely not to have any of the aforementioned armed individuals.

Look this fact up. There is one state that a lot of people carry guns and when the police stops someone they always assume the person is armed. Now the kicker is, guess what state is lowest in murders, and for sure the lowest in ones like Roof committed. Thumb downers, this is a fact, look it up, and yes I know the state.

Gun Control does NOT mean taking peoples guns away.

It means making it more difficult for undesirables to get them. Waiting periods, background checks....common sense controls on who is allowed to buy a gun and walk out of the store.

It also means banning assault rifles and large magazines which aren't needed by anyone but military and police.

We can carry in most places, but this varies by state law. There are also federal "gun free zones."

More guns means two things

1) More people who can defend against mass shooters
