I messed up with my girlfriend... Please help!?
I'm a recent high school graduate attending college next year. I met my this girl (a sophomore) last year through a club in school. We ended up dating for about a month before I broke it off over the summer. When we both returned to high school in the fall, I couldn't leave her side. We started dating in November and I eventually fell in love. We made it all the way to June. We went to prom together, but she wasn't allowed to go to after-prom. I went without her and made the biggest mistake of my life--I cheated on her. I realized my mistake approximately 5 seconds after it began and stopped immediately. My now ex-girlfriend wants nothing to do with me, but I can't stand leaving her. Is there anything I can do?

Yes leave it alone although you might want her this summer what is about to conspire when you go to college is a whole different world. For the first time you will be on your own away from parents and most people you know and you will be discovering who you are in a whole new way. Trust me when I say you owe it to her and yourself to stay friends but not trap each other in a romantic long distance relationship were you or her may end up devastated because one of you wer.e not able to keep your commitment to the other.
Apologize let her know how special she is to you but don't be a jerk and keep her just because you can.

Tell her how much you care and show it. She's probably extremely hurt and sad, if she wants space you might want to give it to her or it could become worse
