In a Microsoft Word document, how do you number pages starting on the first page of the text?

    Insert a "Continuous Break" (Page Layout Tab → Break) under the last entry on the Title page

    Double click the Footer of the first page → Header & Footer Tab will open. Move the cursor to the footer on the second page

    Click "Link to Previous" in the Header & Footer Tab, then click on Page Number in the Header & Footer Tab. If it happens to start with the number "2", click the Page Number once again → Format page numbers → click "Start at"

    MS Word 2013

    Click - "Insert" tab

    Click - Page Number

    Choose the format you desire.

    Every time I try, it puts a page number on every page starting with the title page.
