    You might be using too much.

    You can use a nude lipliner to help keep it in place.

    A big trick here is to apply once. Blot your lips on a tissue. Then apply again (if wanted). Some women dust a bit of face powder on their lips for extra hold.

    Mac was also tested, for LEAD, but it's not on the list (below)

    Dr. Elizabeth Ayoub, biomolecular and medical is issued an alert for lipsticks containing lead, which is a carcinogen.

    Recently the brand 'Red Earth' decreased prices of R $ 67.00 to R $ 9.90!

    Why? Because it contained lead.

    The brands that contain lead are:

    MARY KAY

    CLINIQUE

    ESTÉE LAUDER

    SHISEIDO

    RED EARTH (Lip Gloss)

    CHANEL (Lip Conditioner)

    MARK AMERICA

    MOTIVES

    LIPSTICK

    A V O N

    The higher the lead content, the greater the risk of causing cancer. After doing a test on lipsticks, lip was observed in the highest level of lead AVON. Care for those lipsticks which are supposed to have greater fixation. If your lipstick is fixed but is due to high levels of lead.

    Take this test:

    1. Put some lipstick on your hand;

    2. With a gold ring on this lipstick pass it;

    3. If the lipstick color changes to black, then you know that contains lead.

    Lead on Lipstick: According to a 2009 study conducted by the FDA, every one of 22 lipstick samples tested contained lead, ranging from 0.9 ppm to 3.06 ppm. Though the amounts are small, they can have a big impact on the long-term health of women who apply lipstick every day (and sometimes multiple times per day). The agency's weak regulations for cosmetics allow up to 20 ppm lead in cosmetic colorants, but that doesn't account for other potential sources. The Campaign for Safe Cosmetic has found that lead can be a contaminant of petroleum-based ingredients or of minerals, such as zinc oxide or titanium dioxide.

    Lead and eight other metals are found in lipsticks and lip glosses commonly sold in the United States, some at levels that could raise potential health concerns, according to a new report.

    Researchers measured levels of cadmium, chromium, titanium and other metals in 32 lip products purchased from drugstores and department stores in California.

    They detected lead in 75 percent of the products, according to the report. Half of the samples contained lead at concentrations higher than the maximum allowed by the Food and Drug Administration in candy likely to be consumed by small children, the researchers said. 5-2-13

    400 shades of lipstick contain lead. I've known this for awhile, I thought it was a prank, but on SHINE it was posted again. Google lead in lipstick. About 10,300,000 results. 2-16-12

    Over the years, the US has banned 22 chemicals outright. For comparison, the EU currently bans more than 1,300 chemicals.

    Want to limit your heavy metal intake without giving up your lipstick? The FDA's 2012 test found less than one part per million of lead in Wet n' Wild, Bobbi Brown, and Shiseido brand lipsticks. The Environmental Working Group also has a database with information on cosmetic products and the risky ingredients that could be in them, and the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics has a list of its favorite products online as well.
