Does anyone have a description of Harb carvers?

These are used for dry land ski training.

They are a short version of a roller ski that you use with downhill ski boots and poles. You need to get dry-land tips for your poles since most snow tips aren't durable enough to use on pavement. They get rubbed down and fall apart very quickly that way.

They are basically big ski-like roller skates. How else would you describe them? There are a number of vids on YouTube of people 'carving' down a hill on the street using Harb Carvers and ski poles.
