By Mohammed, is the Trinity god in Christianity 1 God (in the name of the Father, Son, and HS) or 3 Gods (ie. Allah, Mary, and Jesus)?
Did Mohammed understand the meaning of the Trinity God nature correctly?

Yes, Mohammed was in error when he learnt it from Christian heresies. Quran exposed its error or misunderstanding about the Trinity God as... 3 gods (Allah, Mary, and Jesus). That's why many naive or ignorant Muslims usually claimed the Trinity god (F/S/H) from Jesus in Christianity is ...polytheism...
Note that Mary was an human woman chosen by God to be the mother of Jesus. Mary was NOT the Holy Mother in the Trinity God as confused by Quran and by Christian heresies.
For equivalence or similarity to God, NOTHING is identical to the TRINITY GOD for sure although the modern science can prove it with the virtual technique: 1 physical computer can have 3 virtual computers with different roles at the same time, but they are still ONE..

Nothing to do with Muhammed. Over 500 years before he was born, Christians were worshipping the risen Christ as God and the New Testament accounts show this, plus give the reasons why this was not polytheism. There is only one Being of God and because the Son became Jesus, as God in the flesh, to worship Him is to worship the one true God.
Mohammed and all of Islam have a totally warped misunderstanding about the Godhead as described in the Bible. The one Being of God subsists in the three uncreated 'persons' of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The key to understanding lies in grasping that Jesus had a pre-human, eternal existence in Heaven alongside the Father and the Holy Spirit. The Son made everything that was made (John 1:1-14) but He is not a second Creator! And the Father did not take a partner in order to have the Son for the terms 'Father' and 'Son' denote the way those two 'persons' in the Godhead relate to each other. Nothing to do with one creating or 'fathering' the other! That is the huge misunderstanding Muslims suffer from.
As for your end bit (ie Allah, Mary, and Jesus) that simply makes no sense to either Muslims or Christians. Perhaps you have failed to understand both Christianity and Islam on this subject? In Christianity the one name (singular) incorporates all three. There absolutely are not 3 gods in Christianity. Islam also recognizes only 1 God but they misunderstand Christianity, supposing Christians have 3 gods. Not so.

I have no idea why Allah by means of Muhammad did not know Who is the Trinity. Mary, Jesus and Allah were NEVER the Trinity. The Trinity has ALWAYS been Father God, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Bible says that "The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit." (1 Cor. 2:14)
It is obvious that Muhammad never accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, so Muhammad never knew the Holy Spirit. Without the Holy Spirit in his life, Muhammad got a lot of things wrong about the Holy Bible, including the fact that GOD Almighty is Father, Son and Spirit.

Mohammed confused about it, and he thought the Trinity god is 3 gods - Allah, Mary and Jesus - as mentioned in Quran and he opposed the 3 gods concept. Quran was based on this confusion.

Christianity comes in a plethora of variants. The different variants have different beliefs as follows:
1. Jesus is God
2. Jesus is the son of God
3. Jesus is part/form of God
4. Worship and aid is asked from Mary, so she is also taken as a god that aids and provides
5. Reverence and aid is asked from saints/priests, so they are also taken as gods that aid and provide. In some variants they are also intermediaries.
6. The holy spirit, which in Islam is not a deity, is also taken as a god
7. Even in some strange theological arguments satan himself is a god in Christianity
So Christianity does not have one set of beliefs. Even some historical sects of Christianity were pure monotheists. Of course they were deemed heretics and were chased down.
In the end Allah informs us in the Qur'an of verses to refute all forms and brands of polytheism as seen in the picture.
I invite you to Islam, to submit your will fully and completely to the Creator alone in obedience and worship with no partners or associates. That is the path of all the prophets, the straight path.

Muslims acknowledge Jesus as one of the Prophets and revere his mother, but do not accept the virgin birth or that he was the son of God.
