Dance similarities in Madonna's Vogue and Phantom of the Opera?
So, I was watching VH1 Classics channel, and Madonna’s “Vogue” comes on. I am watching those guys dance…. Then it hits me: I have seen that before. Does anyone know if either the dancer or choreographer was also involved in the “Phantom of the Opera” movie? The dance style, and even the look of the actor are almost identical to the solo dance in the “Masquerade” scene.

Karole Armitage choreographed "Vogue."
Peter Darling choreographed "Phantom of the Opera" for film with Gillian Lynne doing the stage chorography for the film as well.
As the commercial dance world is small the chances of a dancer appearing in both the Madonna music video and the Phantom film where there are many dancers in each are pretty good.
