cold climate package?

Update:

2002 Toyota Rav4, and need new washer reservoir bottle.

But I'm coming up with some that talk about a cold climate spec or package. I've never heard of that before. How do you know if you have it or not? Or does it matter? Does that mean a little heater to keep the fluid unfrozen in winter?? Thanks.

Update 2:

The point is about the washer reservoir bottle, not what to put into it. Is the cold package about the bottle or something else? Replacement prices vary by more than double depending upon "cold climate package". thanks.

No. The thing that keeps your windshield washer bottle from freezing is called anti-freeze. Use the stuff that's supposed to be good down to -20 degrees.
