Safety Officer Job Certifications?

Hi everyone,

I am a certified Health Safety and Environment Officer currently based here in the Philippines. I have 2 years local experience and I am certified in H2S, BLS, Rig Safety, etc. I am also OSHA certified as well as being a Registered Safety Officer at the same time.

I want to work in anywhere in Australia, New Zealand, Canada or in the US and wanted to ask about the requirements needed to get accepted as an HSE Officer on the countries I've mentioned above.

I fully understand that there are certifications needed based on the country of my choosing, so I want to ask what these certifications are and where to get them. An if whether or not these certifications can be obtained online.

Also, can anyone suggest what websites to visit in applying for an HSE Officer position on any of the countries I've mentioned above?

You having training for a specific job type.
That is just ONE thing on a long list of things needed to immigrate anywhere.

You look first on the Immigration website for each country. You can find it at the Embassy of .... in Manila.
You will need to search each country for their specific requirements.for your profession. The details are too long for this forum.

Part of getting this certification is to actually see you preform some of the tasks.

There is much fraud with Online certificates. They have little weight.for immigration purposes.

Your first step is to see if you qualify to immigrate.
Your next step is to see if this job is in demand and needs immigrants to fill the positions.

With the recent low oil prices many projects have been scaled back or shut down. Hundreds with your qualifications are also looking for work.

Keep your certificates CURRENT many need to renewed every year or two.
You can google search Job title country of choice for jobs.
whether you can apply for them is another issue.
