My outdoor 3 prong GFCI outlet provides power to 2 prong devices but not to 3 prong devices. Any ideas?

    reversed polarity.

    the outlet is not grounded and the wiring is NOT korecked .... start check at the home panel and continue to the box that holds the GFCI ..............
