The appendix plays an important role in the development of the immune system as do the tonsils and other lymphoid tissues previously thought to have no function. Perhaps you should do more research before asking such silly questions! Your question also makes the ridiculous assumption that over thousands of years nothing has changed. Modern man is not the same as Adam, Natural selection undoubtedly has selected certain alleles out of the population as result of adapting to changes in the environment.

Actually, that's not entirely true. Although the tonsils can be safely removed they do serve a purpose. They are part of the immune system. The appendix is similar. It probably serves a function but it's not fully understood at the time. One theory is that is houses good bacteria which is present there which the body uses to flush the intestines from time to time.

Yep and He has a heart and a soul too. And He created us to be very much like Him. Someday perhaps we will realize that.

they get infected because of your lifestyle and diet mostly and the fact you had them attacked and mostly destroyed their function with childhood 'vaccinations' .. and they do serve a purpose in your body .. if you understood it better you would be more healthy ..
