why does y a not update the top 10 answerers in garden & l/s? it has been a very long time.?

Update in what way? The Top 10 Answerers may not change at all for a very long time, if ever, if nobody else comes along to "bump" one of them off the list. The list is made up of the people with the MOST Best Answers in that category. So someone new must get even MORE Best Answers than the #10 person to push them down the list - and that is even more difficult now than before.

Just because a person is no longer active in a category doesn't mean that they don't qualify for that list, as long as their "record" isn't being broken.

Now, there HAVE been some issues with the actual Best Answer COUNT not being updated, but I've checked my own historical records, and my numbers are being updated. Maybe not every category is, though. Especially if the people on the list aren't active any longer, it will seem like NOTHING is updating, period.
