Lose Internet Connection when I leave it Idle for a while or put to sleep.?
Last couple of days, my 1yr old DELL Computer will lose Internet Connection when I leave it Idle for a while or Put it to sleep then wake it up! Forcing me to re-start it to get connection again, no problem as long as I am using it! AT&T my provider say everything is OK, DELL keeps changing setting.. THOUGHTS???

Of course, when you put the laptop to sleep, that turns off all power to all things except a small amount to keep the ram alive.
As for leaving it idle a long time, check the power settings (power profiles). Make sure it leaves the wireless adapter on at all times. Power settings will shut power off to the wifi to save battery life. This setting can also be checked in the wifi adapter settings (in device manager), do not allow Windows to manage the power to the device.
