If you concentrate your mind and focus your full attention towards perfection, it will continue to be like this. On the contrary, if you deliberately unsettle or deactivate your brain power, your mind will be utterly confused. So in future, you should be extra careful, alert and vigilant when any unscrupulous element or mischief monger tries to provoke you or instigate you or tries to destabilize your mind.
