"Your criteria doesn't match any questions" is a message that keeps showing up when there's a glitch in Yahoo!Answers. What gives?

Update:

Leaving aside the absurdity of the basic message, could the people running the site not hire somebody with a high school education, to manage something as basic as subject-predicate agreement?

While it is a glitch, you do have a point about subject - predicate agreement - sort of.

Technically, criterion is the singular; criteria is plural. However, much like datum/data, criteria as BOTH singular and plural has been gaining ground for about 50 years now. According to Merriam Webster dictionary:

So, Yahoo programmers are simply joining the majority of people who are moving forward into this usage. Personally, I liked the "We're taking a coffee break" error much more.

That is just Yahoo's latest glitch or bug resurfacing again.

To fix it is usually, a refresh the page step, clean your cache on Desktops, or switch to Desktop mode on mobiles. It appears to happen more for me when first getting to YA, so that would probably be just a slow server.

I get that a lot too. I simply hit F5 and it refreshes the screen.
