Why did Allah in Islam associate himself with one last prophet and one black stone for worship? Any good logic or reason?
Wonder why the very hot desert like the hellfire in Mecca was chosen as the center for a worship with a black stone?

No one (including Umar) knew why the black stone in Mecca was used as a marker and an idol in worship ritual. Therefore, some Muslim writers had to create some different unverifiable speculations and fairy tales for this stone.
People just knew it was an order by Mohammed for his worship rituals, then all Muslims did not dare to question about it. But all unbiased studies today can provide a good religious reason that is Mohammed inherited his previous Quarish Arab pagan habits. And another political reason is... Mohammed had to please the requirement from the Meccan pagans in his hometown to merge or join to his new Islam system.
Note that due to a deep ignorance about God in the OT, Mohammed did not know the prohibition of bowing down to any stone in worship as ruled in the OT.

Mecca, it's Kaaba and it's black stone was the foundation of Arabic pagan culture. Whoever owned the Kaaba owned Arabia. It had nothing to do with Religion. Mohammad was a very good politician.
It was both great logic and good reasoning for Mohammad to make the Kaaba the foundation of his Religion.

Muslims don't worship the Kabba no more than the Jews worship the wailing wall. They circulate it and when they do, all their sins get wiped away.
God didn't actually make a new religion, Muhammad was following the religion of all the other prophets which was worshipping one God, as well as trying to get Muslims to believe in one monotheist God, he also had to get all the Arabs and make them one community and the Arabs never had any law and order, they never had a government of any kind so Muhammad had to set down rules and laws especially for certain situations.
In the Qur'an, Bible and Torah we know there were numerous prophets before Muhammad or Moses, but the people always rebelled and went against their prophets or when the prophets died, they went back to their pagan ways.
The Arabs were also Pagans too and they weren't a very good community, they had no morals, were continuously fighting, worshiped idols, did a lot of weird black Magic sh*t and didn't treat the poor and needy well. That's also one of the reasons why Islam came to them first. But even when Muhammad bought the message of God to them, they were arrogant and felt they were superior to God and Muhammad was a threat to their way of life (which wasn't much of a life) and that is why they always fighted and plotted against him and that's why he had to take up arms and fight back.

long story.. When Abraham had taken Hajar as his 2nd wife besides Sarah.. Sarah got jealous.. especially when she couldnt give Abraham a child.. Hajar gave Abraham a baby boy, Ismael... then later Sarah had Isaac..
SArah cast Hajar out.. Abraham took Hajar to the hills of arabia and said he would be back.. Well he was gone a long time.. She got upset cause she was with a small baby boy and had nothing to eat.. She ran between 2 small mountains (or hills) looking for food and some people or community to go to.. Then angel Gabriel came to her and caused a miracle to happen with the baby, his foot struck the earth and out came a spring of water.. She drank from the spring and ate the dates from the date palm trees.. when Ismael became older, God commanded him and Abraham to build the house of God there.. it was called Becca in the old times.. So the original Kabba building in Mecca was built by Abraham and his son.. Later it was changed to Mecca... It has been rebuilt and redone thousands of times since.... but still there,, and the spring of water is still there today outside the mosque.. its called the well of ZamZam , still flowing, still pure..... .. Muslims dont worship the black stone.. it actually was a metorite from space that fell down and was commanded to be used as a cornerstone for the buildint.. it has no mystical powers, it will not grant blessings, it doesnt have magic or grant wishes.. its just a marker for the building. nothing more.. We muslims dont pray to any man, prophet, or items on earth.. ONLY to God.. Abrahams God, Moses's God, Jesus's God, Adams God, etc etc..
edit: the whole ritual of Hajar running between the mountains and praying is redone each year during the month of Dhul Hijja... Which just passed last month in the islamic calender.. thats what the pilgrams are doing each year.. honoring her struggles, and the devotion to God and trust in God..
